Who should avoid getting a massage?
Individuals with contagious skin conditions or infections, like ringworm or impetigo, should not receive a massage until the condition has cleared up.
Individuals with acute inflammation or swelling should avoid massage in the affected area until the inflammation has subsided.
Individuals with a fever, flu, or other contagious illness should avoid massage therapy until they have recovered.
Individuals with severe or uncontrolled high blood pressure should consult with their doctor before receiving a massage.
Individuals with certain medical conditions, such as cancer or autoimmune diseases, should consult with their doctor before receiving a massage.
Individuals who have recently had surgery or who have an open wound or sore should avoid massage in the affected area until it has healed.
Pregnant women should consult with their doctor before receiving a massage, and the massage therapist should be informed of the pregnancy before the massage session.
Individuals who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol should never receive a massage.
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list, and individuals with other medical conditions or concerns should consult with their doctor before receiving a massage.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that things can come up unexpectedly, and we kindly ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a fee of up to 50% of the cost of your scheduled service.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late for your appointment, your service may need to be shortened or rescheduled to accommodate our other clients. We will do our best to accommodate you, but please note that we may not be able to provide the full length of your scheduled service.
Payment
We accept cash, debit, and credit cards for payment. Payment is due at the time of service.
Privacy
We respect your privacy and will never share your personal information with third parties without your consent. Any information collected during your visit to our website or during your appointment will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of providing you with the best possible service.
Liability
Buddha Thai Massage is not responsible for any injuries or damages that may occur during or as a result of your massage appointment. By booking an appointment with us, you agree to waive any liability claims against Buddha Thai Massage and its employees.
